You cannot be in a hurry when eating here, but it is worth your time. Good food. I had the grouper, green beans and baked apples. I wish I didn't live so far away because I would be making it a habit to eat here!

3 minutes outside of Sparta lies one of the best tasting breakfast places I've been to. Hand pattied sausage, not frozen. Fluffy homemade biscuits. Homemade gravy, not premix. Good coffee. Found a new regular place when I'm up here.

Stopped in while passing through the area. Surprisingly quick service, good portions, and the actually the best sweet potato casserole I have ever eaten. Fried pork chops were very good also.

Yummy! We've passed by several times but always seem to be in a hurry. We finally took time to try the place and really enjoyed our meals. Good portion sizes, very tasy and reasonable prices. It is a small place on the backside of a store, so look for it. Menu on a chalkboard. Was surprised at the variety they offered. My husband got pork chops, and they were huge. I wanted Trout, and it comes fried or grilled. Several options for sides. Service was prompt, friendly, helpful, and attentive
